Q1: How to use a 3G phone to view the camera?

First, please note that you have to use our 7000 and 8000 series products, because they support RTSP protocol so that you can use 3G phones to view them. Please follow the under steps to make it work:

  1. Please set up your camera on the Internet first. For how to set up the camera on the internet, please refer to Network\Q2: How can I set up my camera over Internet?
  2. On camera side, please check the settings:
    1. For Single-Codec cameras ( includes IP7132 / IP7131 / IP7137 / IP7135 / PT7137 / PT7135 ), please check:
      1. Disable "RTSP authentication" in "Network" page.
(Because most players in 3G phone do not support RTSP authentication, so you have to disable it. )
      2. Choose "Configure for mobile viewing" in "Audio and video" page.
( Because the 3G network bandwidth is limited, you can't use too large video size or you will get nothing on your cell phone. )
      3. Please make sure that you use "554" as your RTSP port in Network page.
( Because most ISP and players do not allow or support port number other than 554 to let RTSP streaming go through. )
    2. For Dual-Codec cameras ( includes IP7361 / IP7142 / IP7330 / IP8161 / IP7161 / IP7160 / IZ7151 / IP7251 / IP7154 / IP7153 / IP7130 / IP7139 / IP7138 / IP7134 / IP7133 / IP7361 / PZ71x2 / PZ71x1 / PZ7152 / PZ7151 / PZ7132 / PZ7131 / SD73x3 / SD7151 / FD7160 / FD7141 / FD7132 / FD7131 / FD7130 / IP8161 / FD8161 ), please check:
